Thank you for your purchase! 

All MicaSense Sensors require the use of the Downwelling Light Sensor or (DLS2). Recently with all DLS2 purchases we provide a mounting plate, 2 screws and a few double sided Velcro tape. The following Guide will assist in mounting the DLS2 to the plate and application of Velcro tape. 

Let's Get Started

1. Find the mounting plate provided with your Sensor purchase.

   

2. Place the Mounting plate on the bottom of the DLS2 and align the 2 holes on the plate and DLS2 itself.

   

3. Use 2 screws provided, the wrench provided to mount plate to the DLS2.

4. Remove the protective plastic from one side of the Velcro tape and apply to bottom of mounting plate.

   

5. Remove the protective plastic from the opposite side of Velcro tape and apply to the top of your Drone. 
   Be sure to position the DLS2 on the highest part of the Drone if Possible. Note: Ensure there are no obstacles (Propellers or Sensors) between the DLS2 and the top of the Drone.
