DJI supports Skyport sensors on the Matrice 210 V1 and V2. In order to use sensors for DJI Skyport, please ensure that the following DJI software and firmware is up to date. Older versions may not support the Skyport fully.
DJI Assistant 2 For Matrice (V2.0.7 or higher on Windows)
Matrice 210 Firmware
To upgrade the Matrice 210 firmware, log into DJI Assistant 2 for Matrice and go to the Firmware tab. There you can download and install the current version.
Matrice 210 Skyport Firmware
To upgrade the Matrice 210 Skyport firmware, log into DJI Assistant 2 for Matrice and go to the Skyport tab. Connect your Skyport sensor (RedEdge-MX or Altum) to the Matrice 210 and look under the "Common Operations" section. If there is an upgrade available, it will appear there. Otherwise it will read "No need to upgrade".
If your software and firmware is up to date, the sensor is fully powered on, and you still cannot connect to the Matrice 210, please contact support.
In DJI Assistant 2 V 2.0.7, the status on connector II will display as disconnected. This is a known issue with this version of DJI Assistant. The main test of connectivity would be to connect to the drone via Atlas Flight and see if it can detect the payload name and number of captures remaining.
Please ensure that your flight planner supports Skyport operations.
If you are having a problem communicating with Altum via the Skyport on a Matrice 210, please contact support.
Supported Flight Planners
Several flight planners seamlessly support Skyport operations such as triggering and communication of remaining storage. Atlas Flight for iOS fully supports Skyport triggering and displays the number of captures remaining on the storage device.
