Right Click on the Layer and select “Save As…”. Make the following selection:
Wait for this process to finish, then open Google Earth Pro.
Open Rendered GeoTiff in Google Earth Pro
In the menu bar, go to File>Import
Change the file type to All files (“.”), then navigate to the rendered image you created in the previous step. Then, click Open.
Google Earth will then fly to the GEOtiff location. Do not click cancel here.
Depending on the size of your file, you may be prompted with the following message. Choose the option that works best for your data, in general we prefer to use the “Scale” option as it is the most straightforward.
If you select the scale option, you will see the following window pop up. Set the name and location of your scaled image. If your image is not quite aligned to where it should be, you can drag the green adjustment extent markers around your tif image to adjust how your image is stretched and displayed in Google Earth. When you are finished, click OK.
